There was a short outage today. The server was working fine, and then all of a sudden it was off. We sent in a ticket to GigeNET, and they investigated the issue. They found that the server was partially unplugged. I am guessing that it was not plugged back in properly when it was re-racked after the most recent hard drive failure. Everything is back online now, but not all services restart on their own, so if your IRCD is down you will have to restart it.
